About Us
Afrojap Welding Skills Centre was founded in 2004. The accreditation with MerSETA in 2005 enabled the company to acquire projects from the Department of Labour and the private sector.
This has inspired more and more individual candidates to register for welding training with Afrojap Welding Skills Centre. Many of these candidates are presently employed by various steel construction companies as welders or as artisan welders.
Our co-operation and networking relationship with various steel construction companies enabled us to obtain accreditation with QCTO as Skills Development Provider (SDP) and Decentralized Trade Test Centre (DTTC), also approved by MerSETA and Agriseta as a Workplace for experiential learning.
