About Us
The accreditation certification by MerSETA in 2005 enabled the company to acquire projects from the Department of Labour and private business organizations. This inspired more individual candidates to register with Afrojap Welding Skills Centre.
Many of these candidates are presently employed by various steel construction companies as welders or as artisan welders. More and more welders registered to prepare for trade tests and managed to qualify on their first attempts.
Our Co-operation and networking relationship with Top of the World Trade Training Centre drew the attention of the Services SETA to Afrojap Welding Skills Centre, and ultimately accredited us for the training and Trade Testing of Apprentices in terms of section 13 and 28 of the Manpower Training Act,1981.
Our Mission:
A close corporation committed to develop human skills capabilities through practical training in specific welding skills programmes, which are aligned to international standards.
Our motto: “the centre that forges human relations”
